Onward- Rehearsals & Sets

The KID cast

Princess K.I.M. The Musical is moving along...the cast is working hard in rehearsals under the guidance of Director, of Toby Tarnow. The pace will pick up as we prepare to enter the theater for rehearsals.

Dance rehearsal with Bruce.

Grandma, Kim & Dad!

In the meantime, I am busy painting the sets. Below are some details of the Town Scene. Being 100% Italian, I HAD to include an Italian Market! My painting style matches the illustration style of my books in which I outlined everything with a purple line. My goal is to make the audience feel as if they are walking onto my children's book. As a children's book artist I am used to working small....book size. This is quite a change for me and I'm loving it.

Keep checking back as we move closer to Opening Night! You don't want to miss this play!

Meet More of the Cast

Hi - I'm KIM. I already introduced you to the actresses who are playing KIM (me!) and my Grandma on stage. Here's two other people who are special to me... My Dad and Mrs. Della, my teacher.

MY DAD!

Some people say my dad is plain and boring...but actually- he's pretty cool. Here is the actor who is playing my Dad on stage. Doesn't he look snazzy in his tie?

STAGE DAD: Kevin Linkroum
"Hi, I am Kevin Linkroum and I've been acting in both musicals and plays for about 6 years.  Performing in Princess KIM will really be a dream come true as I've always wanted to be in an original show and help bring to life an original character!"

Thankfully, this year I got a really nice teacher...her name is Mrs. Della (And she is SO pretty).

I'd like to introduce you to the actress who is playing Mrs. Della on stage. She's pretty too!

STAGE Teacher: Megan Dillon

"Hi- I'm Megan Dillon and I am Mrs. Della in Princess K.I.M. the Musical. I am a rising sophomore at Souhegan High School. I am very excited to be part of this musical and to work with new people!"

Keep checking back! I have a lot more people to introduce you to...including my friends. Don't forget- you can meet all these characters. Come to the show! Tickets are on sale now- and going fast!
Royally-

PS- You already met KIM and Grandma in an earlier post- but here they are again.

Meet The Cast

ME!

Hi- I'm KIM. Sometimes I'm known as Princess K.I.M. (or Princess Katherine Isabella Marguerite Worthington)... If you want to know the story behind that, you'll have to read the two books written about me!  (My life of Royalty is an open book!)
Well guess what?- Now my life's story is coming to the stage in New Hampshire in October! I'm FAMOUS!
(Drum roll please)....I am honored to introduce you to the talented actress who will be playing ME onstage:

Stage KIM- Alyssa Saunders

"Hi, My name is Alyssa Saunders and I'm so excited to be playing my first leading role as Princess K.I.M. Ever since my theater debut at age 6 theater has become an important part of my life. In addition to acting, I enjoy singing, dancing, public speaking, writing stories, and seeing Broadway shows."

(Second drum roll...) And here is the amazing actress who will be playing MY Grandma Betty- (or is it Queen Elizabeth?) You will just HAVE to come to the play and find out!

 My Grandma Betty

Stage GRANDMA: Ellen Cunis

"Hi. I'm Ellen Cunis and like some of the kids in Princess K.I.M, I was 13 when I first appeared on stage. Joel Gray, the actor, once said,"How satisfying it is to do theater that really has something important to say." I am so happy to be part of a production that does just that."
Next time- I'm going to introduce you to my Dad and Mrs. Della. Just think- you can meet all these great characters on stage in October! Tickets are on sale now!
